Job Openings for Week of September 7, 2010

ES Instructor:Full time 1st shift, Monday through Friday position to plan and implement activities and provide training in classroom and production settings for individuals with disabilities. Previous experience with MR/DD preferred. HS Diploma or GED required.

PT/OT Aide:Full-time position responsible for daily care of residents as well as planning, preparing, implementing and monitoring residents' programs and activities in cooperation with Physical and Occupational Therapy consultants. Combination of 1st and 2nd shift hours and weekends. Position located at our ICF-MR Residential Center. Previous experience or education a plus, HS Diploma or GED required.

Laundry:Part time 2nd shift position to work in laundry at the ICF/MR Residential Center, previous experience preferred. Schedule would include weekends and holidays.

LPN/RN:Full-time 2nd shift position available. Responsible for a caseload of residents to monitor and develop health care plans, pass medications, admit/discharge residents and perform resident assessments as needed in a relaxed residential setting. Must have Iowa license.

Cook:Full time 1st shift position and part-time 2nd shift positions available. Schedule may include some weekends. Previous cooking and food service experience preferred. HS Diploma or GED required.

Housekeeper:Full time 1st shift position available to clean and service the ICF/MR Residential Center. Schedule would include weekends and holidays. Previous housekeeping, floor care, or laundry experience preferred.

Program Lead: Full-time position responsible for daily care of residents as well as planning, preparing, implementing and monitoring individual program plan and activities for assigned individuals at ICF-MR Residential Center. Position works combination of 1st and 2nd shift hours and weekends. HS Diploma or GED required, related experience preferred.

Resident Counselor: Full-time position responsible for overseeing all activities of daily living in group home or apartment settings. Must be able to work rotating 2nd shift/overnight and every other weekend schedule. HS Diploma or GED required.

Resident Aide: Full-time and part-time 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift positions available to assist with and teach independent living skills to children and adults with disabilities in relaxed, residential setting. HS diploma or GED required.
