RECREATION SPECIALIST

 

Full-time position responsible for daily care of residents as well as planning, preparing, implementing and monitoring programs and activities for assigned individuals at ICF-ID Residential Center. Schedule alternates 1st and 2nd shift hours and weekends. Must have a valid drivers license, a clear driving record and current auto insurance. HS Diploma or GED required. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50 lbs.

COOK

Full-time 1st shift position available. Scheduled hours are 8:00am- 6:30pm and require working every other weekend. Previous cooking and food service experience preferred. HS Diploma or GED required. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50lbs.

HOUSEKEEPER

Full-time 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:30pm) position available to clean and service the ICF-ID Residential Center.Schedule will include weekends and holidays. Previous housekeeping, floor care, or laundry experience preferred. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50lbs.

PROGRAM LEAD

RESIDENT ASSISTANT

Resident Assistant – Part time position available to high school students. This position assists with teaching independent living skills to youth and adults with disabilities in a relaxed, residential setting. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50 lbs. Hours begin after school and end as late as 9 pm and include 1st and 2nd shift weekend hours.

RESIDENT COUNSELOR

Full-time position responsible for overseeing all activities of daily living in group home or apartment settings. Must be able to work rotating 2nd shift/overnight and every other weekend schedule. Schedule week one: Monday, Tuesday, Friday thru Monday. Week two: Wednesday and Thursday. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50lbs. HS Diploma or GED required. Must have valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation.

SUPPORT STAFF

Full-time and Part-time positions to assist individuals with disabilities in group home, apartment, and family home settings with activities of daily living, recreational activities and supportive encouragement.  Will be required to have the ability to lift 50 lbs.  Schedule consists of mostly 2nd shift with some day hours.  Typically Monday – Friday hours begin at 3:00/4:00 p.m. until 9:00/10:00 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday hours 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every other weekend.  HS Diploma or GED required.  Must have valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation.

PERSONAL INDEPENDENCE & RESIDENTIAL CENTER INSTRUCTOR

Full-time position responsible for guiding, instructing and supervising a caseload of individuals with developmental disabilities. Shifts will consist of hours: 10:00am-6:30 pm weekdays, and 2:00pm-10:30pm every other weekends. Instructors implement classroom instruction and activities for individuals and group programming. Responsibilities also include daily personal care of participants. HS Diploma or GED required.

Full-time 1st, 2nd & 3rd shift positions and Part-time 1st, 2nd, & 3rd positions available. Responsible for a caseload of residents to monitor and develop health care plans, pass medications, admit/discharge residents and perform resident assessments as needed in a relaxed residential setting. Must have Iowa License. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50 lbs.
