Full-time 1st, 2nd, & 3rd shift, as well as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift part-time positions available. Responsible for a caseload of residents to monitor and develop health care plans, pass medications, admit/discharge residents and perform resident assessments as needed in a relaxed residential setting. Must have Iowa License. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50 lbs.
Full-time 1st shift position responsible for supervising and training a sorting crew and the recycling facility. This position is also responsible for the scheduling of personnel, safety, and quality of work. This position also performs the duty of a sorter. Must be able to stand for entire shift and ability to work from a platform, also be able to withstand extreme climate and various odors. Previous experience supervising and directing the work of others is preferred. Position may work occasional weekends and holidays. HS Diploma or GED required.
This full-time Monday-Friday 1st shift position is responsible for helping individuals with disabilities develop appropriate social and work habits, attitudes and skills. The Production Supervisor is also responsible for organizing and supervising workshop activities to meet realistic production needs. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50lbs. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft programs for electronic documentation & HS diploma or GED required, related experience preferred.
CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE
Full-time position available. This position gives medications, follows medication treatment and charting, and knows residents and reactions to medications. Position will follow and abide by all guidelines. Must have 60 hour certified nurse aide course and medication administration course in the State of Iowa. Position will work rotating weekends and some holidays. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50 lbs.
PERSONAL INDEPENDENCE & RESIDENTIAL CENTER INSTRUCTOR
Full-time position responsible for guiding, instructing and supervising a caseload of individuals with developmental disabilities. Openings for weekday 1st shift at PI Center 7:30 am-4:00 pm and every other weekend at Residential Center choice between 1st shift 6:00 am-2:30 pm or 2nd shift 2:00 pm-10:30 pm. Instructors implement classroom instruction and activities for individual and group programming. Responsibilities also include daily personal care of participants. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50lbs. Must have valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation. HS Diploma or GED required.
Full-time position to assist adults with disabilities to be successfully employed in the community. Assist with job development, on-site training, and transportation. Schedule is flexible, but will require some morning or evening hours, and occasional holidays and weekends. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance and HS Diploma or GED required. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50 lbs.
Full-time 1st shift positions available. Scheduled hours for the two openings are (1) 4:30am – 3:00pm or (2) 8:00am-6:30pm. Both positions require working every other weekend. Previous cooking and food service experience preferred. HS Diploma or GED required. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50 lbs..
Full-time position responsible for daily care of residents as well as planning, preparing, implementing and monitoring Individual Program Plans and activities for assigned individuals at ICF-ID Residential Center. Schedule alternates 1st and 2nd shift hours and every other weekend. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50lbs. HS diploma or GED required, related experience preferred.
Full-time position responsible for daily care of residents as well as planning, preparing, implementing and monitoring programs and activities for assigned individuals at ICF-ID Residential Center. Schedule alternates 1st and 2nd shift hours and weekends. Must have a valid drivers license, a clear driving record and current auto insurance. HS Diploma or GED required. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50 lbs.
Full-time 2nd shift (2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.) position available to clean and service the ICF-ID Residential Center. Schedule will include weekends and holidays. Previous housekeeping, floor care, or laundry experience preferred. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50 lbs.
DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (HIGH SCHOOL)
The position will work in a group home to assist individuals in activities of daily living and to gain independence. Position will provide personal care. Shifts will typically begin at 3:30pm/4:00pm and end around 8:00pm/9:00pm. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50lbs.
DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL FLOAT
This position will work in Community Residential Services (CRS) and Employment Services (ES). The position will float between the two programs; position will work in group homes and apartments as well as day habilitation. Schedule will typically vary between the hours of 6:00a.m. and 9:00p.m. Position will work some weekends and holidays. Position has full-time and part-time options. HS Diploma or GED required. Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Resident Assistant – Part time position available to high school students. This position assists with teaching independent living skills to youth and adults with disabilities in a relaxed, residential setting. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50 lbs. Hours begin after school and end as late as 9 pm and include 1st and 2nd shift weekend hours.
Full-time, Part-time positions to assist individuals with disabilities in group home, apartment, and family home settings with activities of daily living, recreational activities and supportive encouragement. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50lbs. Schedule consists of mostly 2nd shift with some day hours. Typically Monday-Friday hours begin at 3:00/4:00pm until 9:00/10:00pm and Saturday & Sunday hours 8:00am-8:00pm every other weekend. HS Diploma or GED required. Must have valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation.
Full-time and part-time, 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift positions available to assist with and teach independent living skills to children and adults with disabilities in a relaxed, residential setting. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50lbs. HS Diploma or GED required.
