SCREENPRINTING SUPERVISOR

This full-time 1st shift position will maintain a production environment for screenprinting and embroidery to meet subcontract demands. Teach individuals with disabilities the appropriate social and vocational skills, attitudes, and behavior necessary for them to be productive. Screenprint/embroidery includes training and supervising individuals engaged in learning and performing a full range of Screenprint/embroidery duties required in the operation of a wide variety of equipment such as rotary presses, flash dryers, stationary dryers, computer/digital software programs, industrial embroidery machines, and film developers.

Successful candidate will also possess excellent customer service skills. Candidate will need to have the ability to increase customer demand from existing and new customer base.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Needs to be proficient in word, excel and computer operations.
  • High School diploma or GED; Associates degree or two years post-secondary education in graphic arts preferred.
  • Two years of related experience preferred.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

This full-time 1ST shift position (7:00-3:30pm), Sunday-Thursday work schedule. Performs a variety of duties in and around the building and grounds, makes necessary repairs and equipment, and performs daily check of buildings and equipment. Assumes “on call” status for emergency building/equipment situations.

 

Must have general knowledge and experience in all areas of maintenance as well as valid driver’s license & auto insurance. HS diploma or GED required.

JOB COACH- PART TIME

JOB COACH:  Part-Time position , up to 29 hours, to assist adults with disabilities to be successfully employed in the community.  Assist with job development, on-site training, and transportation. Handicapped Development Center is looking for weekend associates for Direct Support Professional roles.

  • Hours will consist of Saturday and Sunday. May include Friday in some cases.
  • Hours will be 2nd and 3rd shift and can include overnights.
  • Full time and part time positions available.

Positions will be assisting individuals with disabilities in group homes or apartment settings with activities in daily living, including personal care and accompanying out to community events. Individuals need to be able to foster an encouraging environment and work independently and exercise good judgment. HS Diploma or GED required. Must have valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Hours begin after school and end as late as 9 pm and include 1st and 2nd shift weekend hours.  Position is required to work a minimum of one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) every other week. No C.N.A. required.
